Description

The aims of the syllabus are to lead students to:

  • an appreciation of a wide spectrum of aspects and schools of psychology;
  • an ability to learn from research and be familiar with research methods;
  • an opportunity to learn from observation, application and experience;
  • foster a culture of reflection both on inner process and attitude in relation to self and others.

The Psychology subject content is divided into the following modules:

  • Module 1: What is Psychology?
  • Module 2: Major Approaches in Psychology
  • Module 3: Development and Observing Human Behaviour: Reflexivity and Process Awareness
  • Module 4: Psychological Disorders
  • Module 5: Themes in Psychology
