Advanced Level Graphical Communication
1 session of 1.5 hours weekly
The aim of this course is to enable the students to:
- Further the ability to communicate information by graphical means;
- Develop a competence in how to approach a graphical design exercise;
- Foster the skill of representing graphically, using both freehand and accurate drawings, plausible design concepts and solutions;
- Develop an accurate level of draughtsmanship that respects established draughting codes, practices and conventions.
- Develop a knowledge of two-dimensional (2D) computer-aided draughting
The Graphical Communication Advanced Level Examination consists of two papers and a continually assessed CAD component. The content includes:
