Intermediate Level English
2 sessions of 1.5 hours weekly
This aim of this course is to enable the students to:
- understand and respond to explicit and implicit meanings in texts;
- describe and make judgements about form, structure and language;
- discern and consider values and attitudes in texts;
- develop informed personal responses and independent judgements based closely upon what has been read;
- express clearly and effectively their understanding, response and judgement;
The English Intermediate Examination is made up of one written paper and an oral examination. The content includes:
- Discussion
- Language
- Literature
- Reading Comprehension
- Summary
- Reading
