Intermediate Level Engineering Drawing and Graphical Communication
1 session of 1.5 hours weekly
This course will enable the students to:
- explore and appreciate the significance of engineering drawing and graphical communication in a rapidly changing technological society;
- develop the ability to communicate engineering and other general information
- in established graphical ways;
- develop the skill to produce accurate and freehand drawings, conforming to
- appropriate methods of graphical representation;
- develop quality draughtsmanship that conforms with internationally recognised standards and conventions.
The Engineering Drawing and Graphical Communication Intermediate Level Examination is made up of one paper. The content includes:
- Plane Geometry
- Solid Geometry
- Orthographic engineering drawings
- Graphical analysis, comparison and presentation of data
- Methods of graphical illustration
- Presentation
- The Design Process
